Hello,
My name is Ugnė. My interest in fashion blossomed early in life as I watched my grandma—a skilled dressmaker—create custom garments for her clients. This experience introduced me to various fabrics, silhouettes, and seams. While I never envisioned a career in fashion, it always captivated me.

Now, I'm dedicated to exploring innovative ways to align our lifestyle with nature, focusing on reducing the ecological footprint of textiles. As a PhD student in materials engineering, my research delves into the fascinating world of textile-origin microplastics. My work aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge materials science and environmentally conscious fashion, contributing to a more sustainable future for both industry and consumers.
Years later, I found myself working in the fashion industry, where I developed an interest in the environmental impact of clothing production and consumption. This experience ignited my passion for sustainable fashion and led me to pursue advanced studies.
